The first ever American IPA we brewed, this is still our most popular beer! Crikey IPA (“Cry-key”) has a hop profile led by notes of citrus, pine & tropical fruit with a malt backbone providing balance to every sip.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours a clear dark orange color with a large white head. A big citrus bouquet in the nose. Floral hops, rose, spicy oranges, a bomb of late boil goodness, very smooth and light at times despite tons of flavor. This bottle is five days old and it shows as an amazingly fresh hoppy brew. Wow. Just massive flavor. The body hints at a less than imperial depth, but man, the flavor is all there. Lovely. Give me 20 more.

Cloudy light amber/brown. Thin head. Aroma is tangerine, grapefruit, white wine (unusual, like xynisteri or something). Bitter, with some brighter mandarin and grape notes.

Draft - Tangerine and sweet tropical fruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lots of citrus peel and sweet fruit. Light balanced bitterness with a long finish. Well done and easy drinking.

Bottle - thanks Chris! Pours hazy golden amber, medium white head with good staying power and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, a bit sweaty and dank, passionfruit, pot. Flavor is very light sweet, light bitter, well balanced. Lightish body, a bit of lingering bitterness. Pretty solid effort.

22 oz. bottle, pours a fairly clear orangey golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a burst of piney hops upfront, along with some mineraly notes and crackery malt in back. Flavour is lovely, with loads of piney hops that totally dominate the palate, leaving not much else than a sufficient malt backing to provide balance. A gorgeous piney hop bomb. Excellent stuff.
