Very dark brown. Smells like chocolate covered coffee beans. You know what, I’ve got no issue with that. Full body. Sick coffee, chocolate, light vanilla character. Hugely dessert-like. They should turn this into an ice cream. I love a beer that gives me a visceral reaction like this.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a nice, fluffy tan head. Strong tones of coffee permeate the room. Light bits of roast and the hints of a thick oatmeal stout. The coffee blends well with the bourbon barrel notes and a bit of smooth chocolate for a very rich and creamy mouthful. Light bittersweetness and some mild roast. Very solid brew indeed. Thanks to Ughsmash for this trade bonus!

Throwdown. Very dark brown. Lots of coffee here. Pretty much iced coffee in many ways. Thinned out body.

Cold coffee aroma. Mild malt and burnt coffee flavor. Thick and heavy palate, but I’m not sure what the big deal is with this one. Is it a a little above average coffee beer.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours dark dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma has lots of roasted coffee bean notes and faint burnt malts and not much else. It has lots of coffee in the nose but not overpowering. The taste is coffee and roastiness mixed with tasty burnt malts. I also get some mild rich chocolate malts in the background along with some malt sweetness. Really nice tasting brew.
