Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy amber body with tiny flecks floating beneath a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain juice, apple peel and a hint of toffee. Flavour of mushy apple and dishwater with a tangy, unpleasant finish. I’m struggling to see how this can be called an IPA - it’s not hoppy or bitter enough. Regardless, it’s not a great beer; I could barely drink half the bottle.

Very hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Dry pale malts - mild to medium sweetness. Dry pithy grapefruit and mild orange. Floral bitterness into a dry finish. Dry and bitter but it’s okay.

330ml bottle from Cheese & Wine shop, Darlington. Hazy orange amber colour with a creamy white foam head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel & some biscuit, with fruity citrus, grapefruit and woody bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Nicely drinkable IPA.
