Gravicask, 4.3 % abv, half-pint, shared with Finn. Clear late straw coloured body, bubbles on the surface, poor lacing. hints of pineapple and bread-like malts on the nose. Blended taste of fruity hops, including pineapple and peaches, hints of grainy malts. Fair bitter fruity ending. Likeable.
Second session, 44th Liverpool Beer Festival, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt

Cask at ORB micropub, Darlington. 4.4%. Amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and malty aroma. Taste is fruity, malt, bready with some tangy earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spicy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, 11.04.12 at award for local pub of the year Pours amber/warm gold with a white head. This is a light fruity beer which is smooth and easy supping, decent maltiness. Not sure of the strength, I thought it was 4.3% but on searching for a commercial description I’ve also seen it at 4.8% A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
