Bourbon Barrel-Aged Jalapeno Imperial Stout Beer.

Mika´s beer is an Imperial Stout brewed with amber and chocolate malts and roasted barley to give an amazing rich cofee-chocolate character and jet black colour. But being a metal fant Mika wanted to turn the volume right up, so he asked us to add jalapeno chillies and to mature the beer in bourbon barrels. We loved the idea and here is the result. It´s big, bold and bursting with rich flavours andfinishes with a mouth tingling spicy heat.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Sweet coffee and vanilla in the nose. Rich, sweet roast, pleasant coffee, vanilla and a hint of chili - just enough to be felt as a slight spiciness. Could this very well be the best Innis & Gunn ever? 161117
