Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington with danlo. Pours deep brown towards black with beige to tan foam. A rich, creamy, roasty porter. Chocolate, smidge of coffee. Medium+ body with smooth carbonation. Very well executed indeed. Delicious!

Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine. Pours dark brown with a short-lived tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate and treacle. Taste is more of the same. Coffee starts to come through at the back. Bit thin.

22/7/2018. Cask at Wor Local Micropub, Prudhoe. Pours dark brown to black with a creamy, cream to beige coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruit, hint of berries, liquorice, coffee and toffee. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a hint of fruity sour. Medium to full body, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Liked this.

Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Black colour, tan foam head leaving lacing and chocolatey roasted malt aroma. Taste is powdered chocolate, with milky, roast malt, smokey, dark fruits & coffee notes with some bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, chocolate roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
