Unclear golden, aroma of weissbier, slightly hoppy in taste. A decent weissbier made with spelt.

Bottle from Rakuten. I thought this was a weizen but it turns out it is a Belgian Pale Ale brewed with Einkorn Wheat. It was a bit of an odd beer, it poured a nice golden copper with a thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma was candy like with citrus notes. The flavor was sweet and tasted a bit like oranges. Some people thought it was sour, some thought it had sorachi ace & someone else thought it was made using Brett... I think it was probably just the odd wheat used in the brewing coming through, quite interesting & unique.

Tap @ Bir&Fud. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is fruit and yeast with some caramel. The flavour is nice and mildly sweet, with the same notes as the aroma.

Whole Foods, Bowery 37.5cl ($5): Pours an ever so slightly golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, and even a bit metallic. Taste is herbal tea like, but a lot sweeter, with a hefty malt backbone. Some lingering pretentious candy taste. Reminds me a bit of Turkish delight. Not bad.

Bottle shared at Beer Temple tasting. Pours hazy golden with a ring off white head. Aroma of spice, yeast, bread. Flavour is initial medium sweetness, light bitter, calming into a strange soft finish, maybe lactose. Medium bodies with soft carbonation.
