08/03/2012 Open Baladin (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma biancastra abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori di lievito, pane, caramello, spezie, note floreali. In bocca è dolciastra, ancora lieviti, pane, grano, caramello. Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione corretta. Indecifrabile, modesta nel complesso, ma interessante per l’utilizzo dell’Enkyr.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden with big off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops and a little floral. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, hops, spices, little floral, little citrus and a little bitter.

On tap. Pours with a very lightly hazed golden yellow hue with a white head. Aromas are floral, perfumey, coriander, potpourri, lightly grainy, vanilla. Flavors are of lavender and coriander. Mild phenols, light fruit, perfume and a bit grainy. Crisp, lively bubbles (too lively), dry. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours radioactive orange with white head. Nose/taste of coriander, orange zest and sweet malt. Finishes with lots of orange - pits and all. Medium body. Simple, but tasty.

Draft at Churchkey. I was really looking forward to trying an Italian saison (a nice change of pace from barleywines), but this one was disappointing. Aroma of very subtle lemon. Taste is lemonade and soda water. Not very saison-like.

Draft. An unclear golden beer wih a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemon, coriander, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, pomerans, and coriander, leading to a dry and very spicy finish.

On tap at Open Baladin. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Complex aroma of fruits and herbs, with a yeasty note kept in the background. Sweetish malty and yeasty flavour with fruit and biscuit notes

Bottled@blindtasting at fonefan. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rbeady malts, some slight dough, eggs and yeast. Flavour is nectar, herbs, fruits, bready malts and some mild honeyish notes.
