500ml bottle: BB Oct 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale pint glass tankard at home on 1st July 2018. Not usually a fan of 'honey beers', but I really enjoyed this one. Clean golden body, white crown. Aroma had a honey front with some herbal notes for back up. The taste was also honey forward, but more subtle than in the nose, some malty molasses sweetness being the main players flavour wise, light hop balance.

7/6/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma of honey, flowers, grass, sweet caramel and malt. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily texture, slightly above average carbonation. Some sharpness to finish to go with the honey. Starts quite nice, but becomes a little bland.

Half-pint, cask at The Fox and Newt. Minimal lacing from a low off-white head. Misty amber body. Aroma of leafy hops and grain. Mixed taste of honeyed hops and earthy malts. Mid-sweet ending, hints of leaves. Standard stuff. (Leeds 04.07.2017).

Cask at Northallerton Beer Festival 2016. Golden colour, white foam head and mellow fruity & honey nose. Taste is sweet, fruity, some zesty citrus, honey, pale malt and light bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, some residual honey at the finish. OK.
