Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is dark roasted malt with notes of liquorice, coffee and some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is light and watery. Nice aroma, but too thin for its own good.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, malt, roast, chichory in the aroma and flavor. Dry, maybe a bit thin. But very tasty.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Dark brown color with a red-brown glare coming through. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, tea, some malt bitterness. Average body and carbonation. How is this a black IPA? Just a weak dark beer. Not utter crap but just not a lot of flavor.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn Groningen. Dark brown with a thin beige head. Roasted malts aroma with some hops. Bit watery sweetish taste. Given the ABV, it’s an acceptable black IPA. Nicely refreshing.

Very dark brown with good sized beige head. Roasted malts, licorice root, dust, chalk, light ash, dry caramel. Almost medium bitter, no sweetness. Light bodied with dry feel.
