Box sample, thanks Danlo for this. Drunk after cooking and eating a mushroom stroganoff, my first attempt from scratch and very nice too. Pours misty gold, aroma has gentle medium apple fruit. Taste is medium dry with high juice content, firm bitterness with gentle floral hibiscus notes adding a mild depth of flavour against the apple. A little tart and dry, but likeable with a light acidity.

6/3/2019. From bag in a box, sample courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed!. Pours gold with a amber tint and very short lasting head. Aroma of semi-sour apples, light caramel, wood and meadows. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness and tartness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Quite dry, sour finish, with increasing vinegar acidity.

BIAB at Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Orange gold colour with a reddish tinge, no head and juicy apple aroma with flowery rose hints. Taste is tangy apple, bittersweet with a little horseblanket funk, fruity, some tartness with floral rose notes and some drying tannins. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish with some residual sweetness. Nicely drinkable
