Bottled@Post-Xmas-Saveur-Xmas-Calendar party. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, and vanilla with some juniper and ashes. Flavour is chocolate, vanilla, alcohol and some juniper and stuff.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium-high dark chocolate aroma with slight vinous notes. very faint coffee. medium sweet background. APPEARANCE: black color and opaque. large brown head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium to medium-high dark chocolate flavor with a slight roasted tone. slight malty-sweet background. medium bitterness with an almost dry and roasted finish. PALATE: medium-full body with moderate carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a very tasty imperial stout that resembles more dark chocolate than coffee.
