Taproom draft into a shot-glass showing lightly filtered hazy lightly tanned orange with white lacing. The nose shows clean cannabis and a cactus-like hoppiness. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated but edging towards light carbonation. The palate shows clean cannabis and a cactus-like hoppiness akin to light agave. Lightly tart throughout.

375 mL bottle poured. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve had an Almanac, which is unusual for me, but it looks like as I slowed down on trying the new ones, they slowed down on releasing them. A think and cloudy apple orange with a thin, disappearing head. Some funk and fruit in the aroma. Really dry, this one is. A lot more so than in previous similar offerings. A good amount of wine barrel impressions. Some grape. Oak. Orange. Slight metallic in the late linger. Lighter in sour category. 5/10. A fun sour from these guys, but far from their best work, in my opinion.

[1/25/17] Draught at Almanac Taproom in San Francisco. Cloudy pink-orange. Aroma of "green" and fruity hops, and sourish fruitiness. Tart flavor, fruity, with plums, and fruity and "green" hops, kinda juicy. Medium-bodied. Very good.

Bottle from The Davis Shoppe. Pours peachy/pinky with a transient near white head. Aroma is light, light tart prunus fruit. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly tart and sort of plummy. Not at all harsh. Rather towards dry. Fairly nice ale. :)

Bottle. Pours cloudy plum-pink, small off-white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is stonefruit, azacca hops, lime, plum. Flavor is light plus tart, fruity, hoppy, citrus and stonefruit. Medium body, a bit low on carbonation but otherwise top notch.
