Turkish Apricot Milkshake IPA.
When Steam Machine’s co-founder left her hidden rural valley of the Far East for the sprawling mass of Istanbul, family would send fresh produce from their fields and gardens. Amongst these treasures would sometimes be golden orange Malatyan apricots, a real taste of her homeland.
A hazy lactose IPA, jammed with apricots and complemented with big fruity hops Citra & Topaz.

Can. Hazy deep gold beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Piney hop, mild and nibbly hop spice. Light citric tang blends fantastically well with in depth apricot that is bright and never sour. Light crispy finish. Nice, apricots ain't just for overrated Belgian whales. Another inventive IPA from Steam Machine. Long may they continue.

440ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Murky amber gold colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and fruity woody hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel with mellow fruity, apricot, musky bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, mellow finish. Quite drinkable.
