2022 version.Pours pale gold with practically no head.Nose shows heavy funk, brettanomyces, green apple, lemon pith, floral notes. Flavours include pear, apple, reasonable horseblanket, a gentle acidity. Quite dry. The funk is not as overpowering as in the aroma.

2020 version is 8% ABV and hopped with US and Australian. Clear yellow. A few bubbles cling to the rim. Aroma is Bretty with twigs and tired autumnal fruit mixing with fresher apple aromas. And so it tastes - a nice mix of tired and fresh apple flavours with sweetness and bite. Then a lurch towards dry with twigs and some not entirely expected bitterness (I hadn't read the label) nip through. Good stuff. Surprising they didn't try cider apples.

750ml bottle from Bucket Boys, Marrickville. Hazy yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and citrusy funky hop aroma. Taste is tangy apple, sourish, with woody oak, citrus rind, barnyard funk and dank hop notes. Medium bodied, fine spritzy carbonation, dry tart funky & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
