BIAB at Dorchester Beerex 2024. Pours hazed straw with a few translucent bubbles. Aroma: apples, chili peppers. Taste: light to moderate sweet, nice tingly heat builds but doesn't overpower. Medium body with low/no carbonation. Nicely balanced, really enjoyed it

Cask sample courtesy of Grumbo. Thanks. Cloudy golden without head. Aroma is sweet apples and chili peppers. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. I had expected worse from chili in cider. 100919

Sample from Chappels Beer Festival. Small head with short duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich apples, little chillies, fruits, sulphur, little tart and has a tart apple finish.

25/1/2019. From bag in box at the 10th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with minimal off-white head. Aroma of apples, chilli pepper and a hint of stilton. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Light body, slight oily texture, flat carbonation. Fiery, fruity finish.

BIAB at Station House, Durham. Orangey gold colour, no head and peppery aroma. Taste is vegetal, fleshy pepper, and mellow apple with a building chilli heat. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering chilli heat at the finish. Quite OK

Bottle at the Cider Museum, 27/10/15. Clear light golden blonde with no head. Nose is apple orchard, light smoke, wood, pear, very light spice notes. Taste comprises red apple, trace of red chilli, light wood, sweet apple sauce. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok ... very subtle on the chilli front, takes the edge off the sweetness nicely.
