Bottle pour at IMBC '19, session 2, 04/10/19. Clear golden with an off white cap. Nose is sweet apple glaze, vanilla, tannins, light smoke. Taste comprises apple skins, less sweet than the aroma suggested, rustic bite, gentle orchard wood, funk, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Another solid offering from Pilton.

Bottle pour at indy man beer con. A clear carmel orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet honeydew, caramel, toffee, fresh apple,. Flavour is composed of dry flinty apple, light oak, white hint of caramel, dry. Nice complex. Palate is frorhy, beautifully light, crisp dry finish, light tannin. Great.

75cl bottle shared with Soph on my birthday. From Scrattings. Pours clear gold, persistent white ring atop. Light stewed apple aroma. Taste is extremely woody with a lick of caramel and cassonade brown sugar. Rich keeved apple that perhaps appears woody due to the four years aging. Fuzzy carbonation mingles with gentle dusty tannins. Some crisp apple skins coming through. Interesting, complex, woody with a nice natural keeved sweetness.

750ml bottle at Cider Salon, 2018. Hazy golden colour, no head and mucky apple aroma. Taste is fruity apple, bittersweet, mellow, with some tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.
