Brown colored. Strong aroma. With its aspect of coffee/mocha, it releases a taste of roasted malt not too deep and not too neutral. Slightly spicy, it reminds you that this beer is essentially for degustation. It can be consumed at the room temperature or slightly cooled.

dark brown to chestnut colour, large, dense and lon lasting beige-ish head; aroma of unripe plum, cocoa, earthy-yeasty, some caramel and floral notes; taste has the same notes with some winter spicy and orange zesty notes; correct one

Can. Dirty coppery brown, large foamy beige head, pretty lasting. Mildee biscuity nose, a bit of yeast, gentle spice. Medium sweetness, biscuity, caramel. Milder bitterness, some yeasry spiciness. A bit of warmth in the aftertaste. Medium body. Nice one.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a murky chestnut brown colour with a large creamy beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, dry dark fruits, a little chocolate and brown bread. Taste has caramel, milk chocolate, brown sugar, a spice and a little more fruit. Fairly light bodied with medium carbonation. A bit too sweet for me personally. Below average Dubbel.

On tap at Sélys Hotel, Liège, side by side with my old man, July 24, 2020. Reddish brown with a tan head that disappears quickly but leaves a long-lasting ring. Aroma is caramel, milk chocolate, blueberries and cranberries. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel, medium body. Low to medium bitterness. Aftertaste brings smoky notes.

Tastes a little overaged. i.e. oxidized, stale. Nothing overtly wrong, but it comes across bland despite being 15 months before expiry. It is good, not great due to this slightly muddled taste. online beerwulf.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Hazy amber body with a few flecks floating beneath a beige head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of fig, cooper and dried leaves. Flavour of rust and salted caramel. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. A good example of the style.
