Handpull cask at the Railway, Ryde. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a scummy little white head and generous lacing. Sweet, astringent, tannic aroma. Some iced tea, wildflowers and hay. Sweet taste, a touch of astringency, leading to a more balanced finish. Strong bitter hop in the aftertaste with suggestions of kumquat peel. Not bad.
