Deze Nobele Europese hop wordt al eeuwen in Europa verbouwd. Om deze bijzonder mooie hop echt te kunnen proeven is deze hop gebruikt als bitterhop, aromahop en als dry hop. Tettnang geeft het bier een bijna aards karakter met de zoete tonen van druiven en de frisheid van sinaasappel.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Cloudy orange with a medium head. Aroma of grainy malt. Flavour is grain, bitter fruit hop, yeast on a chocolate malt base.

Draft at Grote Markt Lentebier festival, The Hague. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, light fruits and light herbal notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Lentebierfestival Grote Markt. Slight hazy golden with white head. Lots of grassy hops with light lime and tropical fruits, pils malts, cucumber, light dry bready notes. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with crisp feel.

Bottle. Cloudy golden orange. No head. Weak aroma of citrus fruits and hops. Taste is earthy, grainy, fruity and hoppy bitter. Zero carbonation. Totally flat. This bottle has still four months to go before the best by date so I wonder if this really supposed to be this way? Would be a nice thirst quencher on a hot day if there were any carbonation.

33cl Bottle from Sterk. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is very floral, hoppy, herbal and grassy, some lemon, a bit yeasty. Flavour is light sweet, vegetables, later on more floral, dry, light yeasty, lemon, grass, light herbal, bitter finish. Light bodied, a bit fizzy.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear golden with a with head. Fruity aroma with some orange and lemon, also light malts. Medium bitter taste and a good long lager finish. Nice one.
