Bottled. More or less black colour with a beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted tones, some caramel, ripe fruits and woody notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild toasted notes, toffee, some coffee as well as mild wood, ripe fruits and actually quite a bitter bite in the finish.

Pint can. Dark brown pour topped with a finger of tan head. Roasty aroma with a light amount of baker's cocoa. Tastes rich with roast, a little earthy and very faintly sweet. Reminds me of a London porter.

16oz can pours a nearly opaque black, brown edges, ring of off white head. Nose is solid, toasted grains, some rootbeer, molasses, brewers licorice, caramel. Flavor starts sweet with caramel and Charleston Chew, there is a roasty coffee note helping with a little rounding bitterness, burnt toast with nutella. Little bite from the roast and from the alcohol on the end.
