16/11/2018. Cask at the Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Pours very dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, figs, dried fruit, hint of spice and very nicely roasted. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky.slick texture, very soft carbonation. Sweet, lactose finish. Very good, festival highlight for me.

Cask at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Black brown colour, beige foam rim and malty, roasty aroma. Taste is malty, meaty, roasty with dried fruits and tangy nutty notes. Full to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty finish. Nicely drinkable.
