Úlfrún is a tip o’ the hat to the American new-wave IPA.

Over a multi-grain fermentation of barley, wheat, rye and oats, the Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops deliver the distinct fruitiness and trigger the tropical delight of pineapple and mango.

Ingredients: Pure Icelandic water, malted barley, malted rye, malted wheat, hops, oats and yeast.

33 cl can purchased as a single at Vínbúðin Egilsstaðir in Egilsstaðir, Iceland. Packaged 22.06.18 printed on bottom of can. The pour is a hazed yellow white golden with a 1/2 inch white head that is lasting. The aroma is tangerine citrus, soft resin and a touch of herbal. Fresh clean nose. The taste is the resin citrus along with a soft cereal cracker malt base. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a citrus softly bitter resin crisp finish. Nice full mouth feel for a lower ABV beer. Nice Session IPA.
