Úlfrún is a tip o’ the hat to the American new-wave IPA.
Over a multi-grain fermentation of barley, wheat, rye and oats, the Mosaic, Citra and Centennial hops deliver the distinct fruitiness and trigger the tropical delight of pineapple and mango.
Ingredients: Pure Icelandic water, malted barley, malted rye, malted wheat, hops, oats and yeast.

Bottle kindly delivered by dejan from Iceland, thanks pal! This is not Icelandic at all, fresh tropical fruits, light to medium bitter. Easy ale. Can drink it anytime anywhere.

PD 04.08.17. OK session beer, lightly hopped, subtly bitter, very drinkable. Bit watery, but that might be the age as well. Solid enough!

Canned 330ml. -Thanks Krešo from Kostanjac Karlovac for this one. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy fruity nose. Light malty, grapefruity hoppy, lots of citrus and touch of herbs with bitter fruity hoppy finish. Really good one.

Can, thanks Krešo S.! Poured a misty amber-gold body with some white head. Dank, peachy, juicy aroma, some orange, some light onion. Quite pungent. The taste actually beats that, very, very fruity, mostly peachy, somewhat tropical and citric, light herbal touches. Maybe even slightly sweetish. Excellent light IPA, delivering taste without an important loss of body. Hats off!
