This versatile hop has a wonderful blend of fruity characteristics: a clean citrus aroma gives way to ripe passionfruit and peach flavours.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is biscuity malt, hops, fruity notes with soft tropical fruits, caramel, herbal notes, grass, citrus, mild grapefruit and a touch of apricot. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Pretty nice, doesn’t have a lot of depth, hops are herbal and mildly fruity, pleasant bitterness. Very decent IPA.

Bottle shared at chriso and Ruth's pre GBBF tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a frothy, white cap. The nose has light plastic, citrus rind, tangerine. Lightly sweet, with notes of pale grains, a little ashy smoke (bad ferment?). Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some phenolic off-notes, bitter citrus rind. Pretty shabby.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [041116]
Amber, frothy white head
Aroma of citrus hops, hint of caramel, bit herbal, hoppy nose initially on opening the bottle than more malts take over
Taste of citrus zest, soft herbal hops, some caramel malt in the background
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, fairly bitter. Finish as main flavour, fairly bitter hops
Overall - Not the most exciting hop I’ve had. Would prefer a bit less malt to allow the hops through more.
