A nod to the traditional pale stouts of yesteryear, when the term ‘stout’ was used to denote a beer’s strength not colour. Our version is a 6.4% malty pale stout using British hops to create a true-to-style beer. Regular and oak-aged versions available.

Keg at Malton Harvest Food Fest. Golden colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt, grainy. Taste is malt, grain, hay, straw and some citric bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable
