21/9/2019. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours cloudy amber brown with a lasting slightly foamy off-white head. Aroma of plummy fruit, red berries, yeast, toffee, molasses, citrus and wood. Light sweetness and medium tartness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation. Enjoyed this.

750ml bottle. Reddy brown colour, foamy biege head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of malt, grain, citric rind, funk. Taste is sour, malty, molasses, citrus rind, tangy, woody oak with funky notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy citric sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle split at Beer Emporium, Bristol. Pours opaque plum coloured with a loose off white covering of bubbles. Aroma: dark fruits, red fruits, balsamic, vinous, oak, smidge of brett funk. Taste: sweet & sour tartness with gentle acidity, light balsamic & winey notes in the Flanders red style. Medium body with loose carbonation. Beautifully balanced and will hopefully age a treat

Bottle. Beer Ritz, Leeds. Deep copper colour. Soft haze. Off white halo of open bubbles. Lasts and laces admirably. Nose has notes of dried fruit. Lots of plum and date. Soft, sweet balsamic. Big hit of vinous, juicy oak. There’s fresh hop, too. Peach and apricot up front. Bit of brett just adds another dimension. Smells fantastic. Taste is super tart, juicy and vinous, with only a hint of acidity. Medium body. Fine, bright carbonation. Lingering juicy tartness to finish. So well put together.
