Bottle form Hatton Crook Deli. It pours crystal clear pale gold with a fizzy dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, ripe juicy apple, toffee apple, apple crumble, touch of marzipan, woody apple skin and dull barnyard. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, puckering, nip of acidity, lovely crunchy apple character with some sweetness underpinning it, apple skin, dull tannin, apple pie and some sour apple chewits with a firm and dry finish. Medium body and a touch of fizz. Sourness keeps any sweetness in check. Quenching and moreish.

26/8/2019. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of moderately sweet apples, citrus, light sulphur and tannins. Light sweetness and moderate sour with a light salty edge. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice semi-dry and light tart finish but with a little lingering sweetness. Quite nice.

500ml bottle from Cairn O' Mohr Shop, Perthshire. Pale golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of orchardy apple. Taste is sweetish, juicy apple, fruity, with some tartness and citric acidity. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry acidic finish. Quite drinkable.
