The fine white flowers of the Elder appear in our farm hedgerows in the early summer. We hand pick the elderflowers and steep them in spring water to make the aromatic elderflower syrup that we then add to our apple cider. The smell and taste of our Elderflower Cider captures the essence of summer.

750ml bottle from Sampford Courtenay. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of elderflower, citric, apple, light funk. Taste is sweet, funky, apple, tart, vinegary, horseblanket, and citric & elderflower notes, with some acidity. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart funky finish with lingering elderflower. Quite drinkable.
