Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Deep amber brown colour, afew beige bubbles on top and aroma of biscuity malt, roasty. Taste is malty, roasted, biscuit, chocolate, coffee with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty nutty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

11/7/2019. Bottle from the Coop in Swindon. Pours amber brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of milky chocolate, moderate roasted malt, plumy dark fruits, toffee and hops. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle from Co-Op Shrewsbury. Pours a deep brown with ruby hints, small foamy pale tan head. Aroma brights very light nutty malt. Light bodied, thin toasted malts, thin twiggy, nutty character, expected a little more chocolate and treacle as per the description but no doubt this would've come to fruition via cask. Bottle however, seems very lacklustre, coming across as a weak mild than a rich porter.
