Cider in a box at Colchester Winter Ale Festival 2023. Tasted with George, the guy who made this one. Clearish deep reddish amber color, still. Aroma of apple flesh and berries. Taste starts with sweet apple then finishes medium dry. Light body. Cheers George! Happy 78th next week.

BIAB sample courtesy of Grumbo, from 28th East Anglian Beer & Cider Fest, Bury St. Edmunds. Cheers Graham! Reddish pink colour, afew bubbles on top and light fruity berry aroma. Taste is dry apple, tart, some fruity berry hints and citric notes. Watery mouthfeel, light bodied, low carbonation, very dry tart finish. Quite OK

Box sample thanks to Grumbo! Pours a misty vimto red. Aroma of assorted red berries, blackcurrant perhaps. Taste is surprisingly watery for such a strong cider, gentle berry character, finishing dry. Not a huge amount going on here, and little in the way of fleshy apple notes.

Aroma of light sour apples, with a hint of citrus, raspberry and wood. Light sweetness, moderate tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft to flat carbonation. Very dry astringent finish. Moderately tart finish. Grower.
