Hare Moon cider is made from apples grown, pressed and bottled at Wigginton Farm, St. Martins in rural Shropshire. Varieties such as Dabinett, Harry Masters Jersey, Browns, Langworthy and Kingston Black are grown on organic land, free of sprays and fertiliser. The Brown Hare, for which this cider is named, is resident in the orchard, enjoying the shelter and windfalls the apple trees provide.

14/5/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark gold with a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is of quite sweet apples, caramel, light brown sugar and a little leather. Medium plus sweetness, moderate tartness. Medium body, syrupy texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet and quite luxurious finish, with some nice lingering bittersweet tartness, and not unlike an iced cider. Very good, enjoyed this one.

500ml bottle, courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Orangey gold colour, no head and aroma of juicy apple. Taste is sweet, mellow, juicy apple, fruity, with some apple core, caramel hint, and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-sweet tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
