Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ BAF 2015. Reddish amber, little tanned head. Nose is oddly sweet, very sweet oak, sugar, barrel, sweet red fruit with some hop buried under brown sugar. Taste is oddly very sweet, sticky brown sugar, wort, spirit, feels halfway fermented, blue cheese hops, overly sweet. Very malty, wort-like body. Hop profile is good this is overly sweet, feels almost wort-like. Apparently another Kaapse IPA fermented on spirit barrels, this one is better & more interesting than others but feels still half finished, overly sweet, bizarre but more enjoyable than some of the other stuff.

On tap at Kimchi 2015. Pours cloudy brown with a cream head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, sweet malts, butterscotch, brown sugar and light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is light heavy sweet and over moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation. More like a barley wine than any kind of ESB, and a decent barley wine at that.
