[ As Old Chimneys Scarlet Pimpernel ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, nutty, fruity malt, caramel. [9/22/16] Bottle sample at Pre-Borefts RateBeer Tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone for sharing bottles! Amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, a bit of nuts, light spicy note. Sweetish flavor, malty, fruity, a bit minerally, a bit nutty.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Very hazy orange brown with a light tan head. Aroma of malt, ripe dark fruit,herbal notes and light caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [22-09-2016]

Thank you cgarvieuk. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Dark brown amber, off-white head. Nose is dull sweet empty honey & basic malt, cereal, hollow. Taste is metallic, bitter cereal, dull, insecticide, herbal, lightly vegetable. Body is fizzy empty vegetable malts. Not very impressive to say the least, didn’t enjoy it too much.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Hazy brownish color, average to medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, a weird kind of fruityness in there, a hint of glue as well, caramellised sugar. Bit weird, not my kind of beer.

Sampled @ Pre-Borefts-Tasting 2016. Trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier mit geringen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, grapefruit. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, grapefruit, lange Bitterkeit.
