Smooth, moreish session stout, loaded with chocolate malts & long-conditioned on Spanish bitter orange peel – a highly enjoyable nod towards everyone’s favourite Christmas stocking pressie. Cheers Terry!

16/4/2019. Cask from 2019 Newcastle Beer and Cider Festival, sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, chocolate orange, dried fruits and touch of liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Some dryness to finish, with lasting earthy, orange notes.
