[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy golden amber pour with a tight cream head; aroma of rhubarb and vanilla; rhubarb taste with some vanilla; then rather tart before a sweet vanilla finish. Iโ€™m not a rhubarb fan, so I wonโ€™t be coming back for another of these.

440ml can from Sainsbury's. Golden with a fluffy white head. Sweet fruity aroma, flavour is rhubarb and custard sweets

Thin off white head. hazy light amber pour. A bit sweet. Rhubarb in the aftertaste. Nice name

330ml can from Beer52: BB 27th Jan 2022. Drank at home on 8th Mar 2021. I like Rhubarb and Custard sweets, so I also liked this. Golden, cloudy body, decent white crown on top. Different and interesting.

Cloudy gold with a bubbly white head and sweet shop rhubarb and custard on the nose, but the taste is a bit of a hotch potch if Iโ€™m honest, sweet and tart and light biscuit malt all having a rumble, with a sherbety mouthfeel. Not sure what it's trying to be, caught between several stools perhaps

Pale beer, white head. Slightly hazy. Sharp, tart fruit aroma. Flavour is a decent balance of the sharp rhubarb and the sweet, lactose-y milkshake flavour, with a little hoppiness and some malt to balance it out. Nothing special and it might be a touch heavy on the lactose but it's pretty drinkable.

Quite special aroma, vanilla, fresh, fruity, a bit peach, but donโ€™t get the rhubarb, more like some artificial candy, thin and even a bit watery texture, well these are some unusual flavors in here, overall tad weird milkshake pale ale, 3.3

Keg @ Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Unclear gold, thin white head. Moderately sweet rhubarb nose. Taste is smooth with vibrant rhubarb and custard sweet character, gentle lactose adding subtle milky textures. Quite enjoyed this.
