Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a golden amber with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has biscuits and floral hops. In the mouth it has a creamy texture and starts off malty. Later on some autumn fruits and floral hops come through. Finish is dry and hoppy. As others have said it’s not an APA but I’m not sure how to categorise it. Somewhere between a best bitter and an IPA. Anyway, it’s rather nice !

Cask at The Pilgrim, Liverpool. Orange amber gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and biscuity hoppy aroma. Taste is mellow malt, caramel, citrusy with tangy hoppy bitterNess. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy hop bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Cask @ Mold Alehouse. Pours amber, creamy off-white head. Smooth malt on the palate with a faint sweetness, a touch leafy with a low bitterness. Not a pale ale by any stretch, but pleasant, easy-going and light all the same.
