Traditional Russian Imperial Stout made with 7 different malts, it has rich taste and rich smell. The full-bodied, dark and thick drink is aged for a year for the perfect ratio of the hop and the malt. High alcohol percentage, berries and dried fruits with a light caramel-truffle finish. It is a beer to remember. The Franky and Boris beers are limited editions, and are either in a 0,375 l or a 1,5 bottle. Only a few thousand are made. Each bottle has its own number and the year of production written on it, which is important because each year we keep the first 120 beers. We plan to make a special collection in the following years, which will contain the saved bottles.

Svart med beige skum. Lukter kaffe mokka. Tørr, kaffebitter smak. Brent kaffe og mørk sjokolade. Lang bitter, noe salmikklakris i avslutningen.

Tap at Borefts, 2019. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqouirce, red berry fruits, light chocolate, light boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqouirce bitter, with smooth, rich, liqouirce, light fruity, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, some liquorice. Taste is chocolate, roast, liquorice, heavy. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Saturday. A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of liquorice strong moderate sweet dark malt. Taste of sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, liquorice.

Sampled at Borefts 2019. Dark brown with dark beige head. Honey, sweet malts, soft alcohol, dark chocolate, bitter herbs, blackberries, dry spices. Quite sweet but also boozy bitter. Full bodied with boozy finish.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice roast up front, very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, caramel, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, bitter, malty, bit sweet, grains, hay, cow fodder. Aftertaste: bitter roast, malty, coffee, hop bitterness as well, more roasted flavours, bit sourish. Missing some of that chocolate from the smell.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has sweet licorice root tones and some cola. Flavour has cola. licorice root and candy. A bit artifical, straightforard and candy-like.
