Tiny brown shortlasting head, deep black color. Aroma is mild and slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, dark sugar, minerals, mild bourbon, lightly smoked red peppers, old rope, oak, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, licorice, maple syrup. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, minerals, salt, dark sugar, oak, old rope, maple syrup, caramel, chocolate, grass, licorice, mild smoke, vanilla. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel and syrupy mouthfeel. Nice one, and very easy drinking given ABV.

Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of rich malt, dark chocolate, rich filled chocolate, honey, wood, mild bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, honey, rich dark chocolate, dried fruit, wood, bourbon, alcohol. Fuld body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with heavy alcohol warmth. 110517

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pitch black pour with no head. Notes of maple syrup, honey, oak barrel, coffee, chocolate, caramelized cherries, tons of bourbon. Hugely sweet up front, maple and honey, light toffee and bourbon, followed by a mellow coffee roast. Full body, almost no carbonation.

Full Body, very light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ripe fruits, licorice, earthy, sweet / molasses, some coconut, nice wood notes. finishes medium sweet with notes of molasses, coconut and liqueur notes. very nice one, rather on the sweet side, but very nice balance overall, quite smooth, very light booze. overall very nice one.

Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, bourbon, alcohol, light to moderate honey and maple syrup. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, alcohol, sweet malt, dark malt, buzzy.
