Tap@Voodoo TTO, Mikkeller and Friends - Black pour with tiny tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with opulent chocolate and caramel and toffee, rich whisky soaked wooden notes in the finish.

0,2l from tap shared by bursprak, big thanks. black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, wood, coconut, molasses, bit earthy. nice smell. Full Body, obvious carbonation, oily mouthfeel. tastes earthy, licorice, liqueurish, some whiskey, bit boozy, wood, coconut. finishes lightly sweet with notes of molasses, coconut and some whisky. very nice one, heavy but still good to drink, overall very nice stuff.

Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, wood, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, dried fruit, little vanilla, wood, bourbon. Medium to fuld, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 110517

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Toffee and caramelish malty. Sweet and toasted malty finish. Dense roasted malty, slight whiskey and boozy. Toasted lingering malty far finish.

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Place Fontainas 8, Brussels, Belgium 1000. [ As Voodoo Black Magick (Rye Whiskey) ]. [ Bottle #445].Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, wood, berry - overriped dark fruit, alcohol - whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cacao, dark malt, vanilla, whisky, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160916] 8-3-8-4-16

Bottle shared, thanks! Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of big bourbon, oak, vanilla, fudge, booze, overripe dark fruit, alcohol, caramel, roast and malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with alcohol warmth and soft carbonation. [17-09-2016]

On tap at the end of the de garde anniversary party. This was a nice finisher. Pours out ink black topped with no head a ring of brown was about all. Nose is big barrel rye roast malts sweetness chocolate coffee and plenty heavy roast. Taste is more of the big barrel notes vanilla brown sugar molasses chocolate and the heavy roast.

On tap at the De Garde Anniversary. Pours black with no head. The aroma is strong rye, wood, vanilla, roast. Thick mouth, chewy, roast, vanilla, rye, chocolate, nice bourbon, really enjoyed this.
