CITRA AMARILLO PALE Extra Pale ale at session strength, dry hopped with two classic American hops - Citra & Amarillo - leading to a characterful, however still easy-drinking pale. The citrus hop notes are balanced by a simple and clean malt bill of 90% Maris Otter and small quantities of Cara malt and Wheat. Enjoy! ALLERGENS: Wheat & barley malt

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 2 months past BBE. Cloudy gold with moderate sized white foamy head, nice lacing. Citrus and floral aroma with some biscuit and spice. Pleasant and clean taste of citrus, cracker, spice, light floral, grassy moderate bitter finish. Hops slightly subdued which maybe age or just brewed to be easy drinking. Overall though I liked it, very refreshing and quaffable which is underrated.

Hand-pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn, Wellington on 7th March 2023 while helping with the Quiz Night. Golden body, fluffy white crown. Citra hops rule the nose and taste with Amarillo backing them up nicely (if you like citrus flavoured beer). It's a decent enough session ale, but it's also like so many around at the moment.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 19th January 2022. Clear amber with off-white foam and full lacing. Light aroma of biscuit malt. Nutty maltiness in-mouth with biscuit notes and mild hints of apricot and citrus. A complex finish ensues, with a trend to grassiness and bitterness as the pint progresses. Smooth, easy drinking texture and a light to medium body. Very satisfying.

On cask at Totnes Brew Company. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - orange going into marmalade. Biscuit. Taste - marmalade in toast. Palate - medium bodied and tangy texture and tangy finish. Overall - great stuff especially considering the ABV.

Cask-conditioned, at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol, 16/10/2017. Golden in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. Floral hops, tangerine and pineapple fruits, biscuity malts, a touch of white pepper leading to a dryish finish. A juicy, refreshing, session beer that was a great showcase for the hops. Excellent.
