Bottle. It’s an unclear, golden beer with a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma is smoked and wooly, with some citrus. Smoked malts, resins, citrus and a touch of tar in the flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dryish on the nose. Lasting smoked, tar-like and fruity finish. Don’t think the smoked salt was a very good idea. Drinkable though. 150328

0,5L bottle (from bierkompass.de), BB 31.12.2015. Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is smoke, bacon, tar. Flavor is sweet, sour, salt, smoke, bacon, wheat, a touch of alcohol. Finish is sour and wheaty. Overall: I have never tasted beer like this before, very interesting brew. I guess it fits nicely for rating #1000.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, brödiga toner, salt, karamell, rök, aska, läder och charkuterier. Lätt kropp, lagom sötma, en aning syrlig. Välbalaserade smaker.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy deep golden with a huge frothy and creamy goldenish white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sour and smokey with saltines, sweet dark bread, lemon juice, yoghurt, smoked sausage, juniper berries and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sour, slightly salty, tiny malty and smokey with sourdough bread, saltines, lemon juice, yoghurt, smoked charcuteries, moist hay, burnt wood, juniper berries, lemon zest and hints of sea salt. Mouthfeel is soft, velvety, tart, tiny dry and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour, tiny salty, tiny malty and smoked with sourdough bread, saltines, lemon juice, yoghurt, moist hay, burnt wood, smoked charcuteries, lemon zest and hints of sea salt. A love it or hate it beer I guess. I like it! Strange yet delicious...
