Sample during the 10th Annual Day Before Labor Day Party on 09/06/2015. Cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Smoky aroma with fruit and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, fruit and spice. The finish is smoky with a burnt malt and fruit aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Tap. Pours clear bubbly golden, medium white head, a bit fizzy, some lacing. Aroma is sea air, smoked hard wood, citrus perks, orange. Flavor had just enough sweetness to make the smoke tend to meat, light tart, prominent salt. Light body. Eh.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 50cl bottle: pours hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma is many sausage. So many sausage. Taste is lightly sour. Quite smoky. I have been drinking it for a while so the initial smoke shock wore off, but this is still way smokier than most beers. A lottle sweet and kind of heavy and sticky for a gose.
