Bottle, 8.5%. Good malty aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Very good malty flavour, sweet and spicy, alcoholic. Good balance. 8 3 8 3 18

Bottle, 8.5%. BB 2008. Good malty aroma. Almost clear amber colour with some small bits of yeast floating around in it. Good stable white head. The flavour is very malty, nicely chalky with some vanilla. On the sweet side but with a nice dose of alcohol to balance it. Surprisingly still holds up after 4-5 years in my cellar. 8 3 8 3 17

Bright red-orange with light haze (though end of bottle is one big UFO); huge dense, creamy, sightly irregular head. Very fruity, estery nose, sweet oranges, strawberries, sweet plums as mirabelles. Very fusel-y taste, estery; pretty sweet but not cloying. Lots of citrus - like orange peel, sugared, especially; ends on loads of restsweetness. Pretty chewy, thick & viscous. Alcohol remains mostly hidden. Not a typical tripel, rather B.E.S., seen its sweetness, but it is quite nice.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Pours a hazy, amber golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Sweetish, fruity aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweetish notes of caramel and fruit. No bitterness. A bit unbalanced. 290607

The aroma is nicely spicy. The color is dark orange with particles floating around - it has a fine off-white head. The flavor is sweet, yeasty with an OK bitter end. A nice flavor.
