Bottle blew itself half empty during transit, whole box a mess. Cap still came off with a bang, way too much carbonation. Beer is bitter, roasty, laurel. Nice thickness. Unbalanced, nothing to counter the roast, one dimensional. Homebrew quality.

33 cl. bottle @ de Zilte Rus in Oosterend, bought @ Lupine in West-Terschelling. Pitch black with a big dense dark beige head. Roasted malts, pure chocolate and some smoke in the aroma. Taste is sweet and slightly smoky with some noticeable alcohol. Mouthfeel is oily. Nice solid RIS.

Draught @ BAF 2016 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kwartje Brute Force ].Dark red brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, smoke, plastic, smoked plastic, iodine. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, peat, plastic, roasted, smoke, iodine. Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 02-2019. Dark color, medium frothy brown head. Aroma of dark roast, tobacco and ashes, and some dark chocolate. Bit whisky notes in taste, some tar and ashes, bit alcoholic. Bit too high on carbonation. Ok stuff.

On tap at Borefts BF 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Decent syrupy oily impy stout. Some heat. A little smoke. Oily impy stout. Hmmmm.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Black with a medium large, slightly creamy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit peated aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, caramel and some iodine. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty and quite peaty taste of dark chocolate, licorice, caramel and iodine, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry and quite peaty finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is halitosis, chocolate, earthy, a bit weird. Taste is sweetish chocolate, cooking chocolate. Silky moutfeel, low carbonation. Alright!
