Clear dark brown to black beer, small aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty weird, chemical, plastic, fixed carpet, what is wrong with this?? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, very roasted, bit sugary, plastic, bah. Aftertaste: dusty, spicy touch, weird, lots of roasted malts, bitter, coffee, meh, too bitter as well. Don't like it.

Thank you for sharing Israeli Crew! Sampled draft @ BAF 2016. Dark brown going to black, little head. Nose is thick grainy vauge molasses, bitter herbal syrup. Taste is strangely bitter, gravy, syrupy bitter grains, soapy, overly thick herbal sludge, cough medicine. Bitter herbal thick grainy syrupy body. No idea where they were going with this, quite far from what you would expect from an RIS, almost like a very subpar & messy Barley Wine. This one was a disappointment after trying their excellent Upgrade Vanilla.

Bottle split at Arendsnest in der Dam, 27/09/15. Pitch black topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is peated malt but kept in check, spice, chocolate, roasty notes, tar, brown sugar. Taste comprises chocolate, more peated notes, dark fruit rinds, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, lightly warming alcohol in the close. Solid stuff for a peaty number, well balanced.
