ABV: 7.1%. Clear medium to light amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, sweet malt, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220702]

Bottle at Varna, Bulgaria. Shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor. Dark golden to amber, small off-white head. Caramel, candy, fake. Metallic and sweet. Medium body, thick texture, smooth, light finish. Average.

Bottle at Nora’s in Sofia. Picked up at the market downstairs. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds bready malts, hints of butterscotch, honey. Medium sweet flavour with ample white sugar, white bread, vanilla, meringue, doughy malts, a little booze. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with more doughy white bread, syrupy vanilla, alcohol, hay, honey. Interesting beer. Pretty one-dimensional, but for the style it’s not bad.
