500ml bottle at 2017 RIS tasting, courtesy of Jeremy. Dark, muddy brown, near black, small but sufficient beige head. Boozy, dark pit fruit aroma, roast malts too. Barrels come forward in the taste, woody, savory notes, more of the cognac. Not digging it too much.

Bottle at the 10th Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Deep brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is roast, Belgian yeast, a little pit fruit, and barrel accents. Hits the typical marks for flavor in a Belgian Impy; roast, pit fruit, yeast. The cognac barrel adds a nice touch of sweetness.
