Curimba is our irregular series of Bretted saisons with fruit. The beer combines multiple yeast strains that all impart different flavours. After a couple of months of maturation, we have aged it further on fresh nectarines for the second version. The result is a complex beer with tart, fruity and funky flavours.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of dry brett funk, nectarine zest, horseblanket, wheat and orange. Taste has dry nectarine zest, brett funk, some horseblanket, yeast esters and a dry finish. Elegant fruity funky beer, nice.

Bottle. Golor: Hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Funky, fruity stone fruit, yeast. Taste: Pretty strong farmyard funk, malt, wheat, lightly tart nectarines. Some wood and citrus and spicy hints..Moderate sweet and moderate bitter, lightly tart. Bittery and dry fruity finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one, although not one of the very best from this brewery.

Hazy pale yellow with thin head. Aroma and flavour have Brett funk. Refreshing but has a really dry finish.

Draught at Foeders. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are lovely: peach, sort of a sweetish saison, slightly tart. Yep, I like this one.

Draft at Hoppzak, Den Haag. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light funk, barnyard, soft Brett, citrus, tart light fruits, peach and nectarine. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and sour. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at Foeders, Amsterdam, 25th September 19. Pours like pink grapefruit, aroma is brett, rose water, citrus and fruit. Taste is refreshing, light rose, brett, a hint of nectarines. Slightly watery, but still good.
