De Hommeles Ondeugd is ready for take-off!

Bottle at home. Aroma of sweetish malt, lots of smoke, bread. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. I would prefer a little less malty sweetness. Nevertheless, this is a decent Bamberg-style Rauchbier.

Bottle, bought @ Bierpakhuis Albergen. Malt and fat sausage in the aroma. Malty, medium bodied. Bready flavor with fat sausage. Hint of beechwood. Surprisingly good, very well balanced Rauchbier.

Bottle. Color: In between amber and copper, very thin off-white head. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, nicely masked by the taste of smoke and peat. Very lightly bitterness at finish. Pretty mild, very drinkable, well balanced. Dry mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. No signs of decay, although the bbf date is expired for 2 months. Nice beer.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Smoky and caramel malty aroma, hints of birch and beech ashes, a touch of smoked eel. Taste is initially mellow caramel malty, smoky, minimally peaty, just in the moment as unpleasant hints of TCP might start to intrude they’re intercepted by an ashy and bitter hoppy squad, delivering hints of beech and birch ashes, even a touch of birch sap, a floral hoppy touch as well. Very nice "lighter" Smoked.
